A group of islands in the middle of the Andaman Sea, located in Krabi Province, Thailand. The main islands are:

How to Get to Phi Phi Islands
You can travel from Krabi by boat:

From Klong Jilad Pier or Ao Nang

By speedboat (approximately 1.5 hours) or ferry (about 2 hours)

You can choose a one-day tour (round trip in one day), or stay overnight on the island.
Alternatively, you can also travel from Phuket if you’re staying there.
Highlights of Phi Phi Islands
1. Maya Bay
World-famous for its crystal-clear waters.
It was the filming location for the movie The Beach.
Currently, visitors are allowed to walk on the beach in designated rounds. Swimming directly in front of the bay is not permitted (for conservation purposes).
2. Pileh Lagoon
A beautiful emerald-green lagoon surrounded by limestone cliffs.
Popular for swimming, snorkeling, and taking photos in the middle of the calm water.
3. Snorkeling and Diving
Around Bamboo Island or the sides of Phi Phi Leh, you’ll find vibrant coral reefs and marine life including clownfish.
There are several spots for snorkeling along the tour route.
4. Monkey Bay
A scenic stop where you can observe wild monkeys.
Be cautious and avoid getting too close to them.
5. Phi Phi Viewpoint
Overlooks the iconic sandbar joining the two halves of Phi Phi Don.
The hike takes around 20–30 minutes, offering panoramic views of the islands.
Staying Overnight
Accommodations are available on Phi Phi Don, ranging from hostels to resorts and bungalows.
At night, there are beachfront bars where you can relax or enjoy a light beach party atmosphere.
